Turkish Civil Law

Surely unknown to many is the fact that the Turkish civil law corresponds to a larger extent to the Swiss canton of Neuchatel. The Swiss civil law in turn resembles the German law, so that only in detailed questions do you have differences between German and Turkish law, which then are partially very serious.

We deal with the Turkish family law amongst others, since the growing number of binational marriages has made it relevant and because it can also be applied to the many Turkish couples living in Germany. As such we take care of custody issues, issues of maintenance or recognition of German (divorce) judgments in Turkey.

But we also use Turkish law in the area of travel law and law of obligation, such as when in Turkey sales contracts have to be concluded or holiday travels are undertaken to the destinations in Turkey loved by Germans.

In particular, the fact that we can also represent you in court in Turkey and we have Turkish lawyers and staff members belonging to our firm, gives us a comprehensive perception of your interests, which exhibits a reference to the Turkish civil law.
